Macauleys

There was a lot of cloud when I looked out my window this morning. A gap in the clouds a narrow band of light looked encouraging. I drove over to Park Beach. The clouds were already starting to fire pink over the headland. So I decided to take photos from a higher vantage, looking down over my rocky rampart. There was a good swell, and the ocean had some energy. My filters weren’t in the camera bag, so I had to bracket exposures, the foreground rocks were a bit overexposed, and hard to lift up with the shadows and exposure sliders in photoshop.
