I drove down to Gallows not expecting much of sunrise. Dark rain clouds moved over the coast, and as I stood on Boambee Beach the rain fell on me. I got back into my car and drove to the south wall, thinking that the light would not offer any photographic opportunities. I was wrong, by time I got back to Gallows Beach the rain had stopped and the clouds started firing pink. I stepped down onto the beach, and the light began to get nice. And down to the south a rainbow appeared in the clouds.
