Macauleys Headland

After a week of big impressive skies, the weekend came and the clouds were gone. I hate being trapped in the office when the clouds are putting on a show.

It was very cold and clear last night. I did my 16km run and then got out for some photographs. I tried to work on getting better focus from foreground to infinity, practising with hypefocal distance focusing. The foreground had some grass and a few yellow Senecio flowers There some big waves over topping the big foreground rocks, and then falling down as a curtain of water back on the other side. At my back a couple of small orange clouds reflected in a rock pool.

Each sunset is completely unique with its own fingerprint of light and movement. Almost impossible to predict.
